Opera Minima commissioned Martin to write Rainforest which we premiered in the Old Corset Factory in 2007 and then toured to six venues in 5 counties including Oakham and Corsham Festivals and St Giles in the Fields in London's West End.

In 2009, Rainforest was performed in 6 schools in Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire, and in Stamford Arts Centre and, al fresco, at Little Dalby Hall, Leics, by invitation of Edward and Anna Garnier.
